Clearly, the President never told an untruth. Contrary to what the democrats and the liberal press would have us all believe. Through their use of opposing and or political operatives,  they are attempting to discredit the President through erroneous reporting and by confusing the different sets of intelligence the U.S. government had with what the President said in his speech.. Quite frankly, I don’t think some (democrats) know what they are talking about at times. Just piling on and trying to add pressure to provoke a defensive response (hopefully incorrect) from the President and the administration.

As was mentioned here by me on the front page of this website, Her Majesty’s Secret Intelligence services and British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Foreign Secretary Jack Straw stand by their intelligence claims that Saddam Hussein and Iraq were attempting to purchase uranium from Niger. This intelligence is rock solid and they unequivocally stand by it.

So what part of these 16 words in the Presidents State of the Union don’t the democrats understand? “The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.” The British clearly stand by this. The C.I.A. clearly approved of the statement or else the statement would not have made it into the Presidents State of the Union address. The last time I checked, Niger was still in the continent of Africa. Hasn’t moved yet. So where is the problem?

The problem is the democrats are trying to discredit the President and the U.S. by obfuscating (confuse) the facts. There was never a mention in the Presidents State of the Union Address referring to the now discredited forged documents. So what part of that don’t the democrats understand?

The real truth of the matter is that they mostly and unwillingly understand, but don’t want the public to understand. But guess what, the truth is out there, and is very clear and corroborated.

While the democrats pursue this unreasonable attack on the country - yes the country and the President and his administration, the President is out there raising millions upon millions of dollars for his upcoming 2004 re-election war chest. All the while, the democrats are losing big money supporters. They are playing right into the Presidents hands with this.. Just ask Joe Lieberman, who had his big money supporters pull out of his campaign recently. All in all, the President has more money in his campaign chest than all of the democratic contenders combined.

The President should maintain his focus, goals and strategy.. Not be sidetracked by worthless allegations. Which is what they have in mind.

Perhaps the President should tell the “vast left wing conspiracy” to take a hike. Then say, what part of that don’t you understand.
